Hi, I am 48 and just been diagnosed with a hiatus hernia. I'm on Nexium, which helps significantly with the heartburn but I still get attacks. When I get these attacks, they are very bad (sharp grabbing pain in my lower abdomin up into my chest area, nausea and diarhea). I just had one that lasted for 2 days.
