Other than going to an OB/GYN that either specializes in it (or going to one who has a great deal of experience) I have'nt found any at home remedies or pain control other than birth control. Hi, I've been going to the doctor for a hard neck mass. On April 1st I had a ct scan w/contrast, it showed a swollen parotid gland. Does anybody have any knowledge or experience with such a thing? Like what would cause it, how could I releive the pressure in my neck. At least until more testing is done. I'm suppose to go back to the ENT in 3 weeks ... more
Had ct scan w/contrast on April 1st. Dr. says it's a swollen parotid gland. Don't know why it's swollen so more testing in 3 weeks. He did say that the scan shown nothing that indicated cancer....whew!
I have it, my aunt (my mothers sister) has it. She had a hysterectomy. My mother was never diagnosed, but I remember when I was little that she was in ALOT of pain and had heavy periods. I think she had it, but she has since hit menopause and she's great. I also wonder if my daughter will get it. At least I know what the symtoms are so if she does ... more
Hello there, I had a copper IUD for 5 yrs. Never once used any other kind of birth control, and never got pregnant. Well, that I know of.... What I didn't know when I had it inserted is that a copper IUD doesn't prevent fertilization, it makes your uterus soooo unhappy that nothing can implant or stay implanted.
