Went to UCSF and after every test imaginable, the head of neurosurgery believes my mom has OSTEOMYELITIS. A bone infection as a result of infection from a prior surgery that migrated through bone marrow to cause these dents.She has surgery this month to excavate the area and run tests to confirm. My mom had an xray so far over the past year she has experienced skullerosion on the frontal bone, accompanied by dizziness, loss of balance or coordination, severe frontal/sinus headaches, vision issues, memory loss (loses cell phone all the time) and fatigue. Meanwhile the doc stares at her strangely and has no clue what it is.
