Hi. I am taking 100mg of topamax a day. I have been on it for about a month now and beside having the tingling and still having problems with memory and finding the word I want to say, now I find I get frustrated and anxious easily will this get better or worse. I'm starting to get tired of being told to relax and calm down.
I have been on topamax for about 6 weeks now. Started going off my dilantin while uping my topamax. Not as stupid when I talk but am now noticing more of a difference in my eating pattern not as hungry or don't eat everything on my plate my hands are also starting to tingle. I take 100mg a day. Hi I am 41 years old and have had epilepsy since I was 28. I had two grand mal seizures then, but have had not had any since. I also have myoclonic seizures. I have been on dilantin for 13 years and am now being changed over to topamax. I have been having alot of the same side effects, not being able to find the word I want to say, forgeting what I want to say. The other day in the bank I forgot how to write my own signature.
