Ask your doctors why if 1 out of 4 arteries feeding into the circle of Willis is blocked that caused a stroke. I have a completely blocked right carotid artery and the three other arteries are definitely providing enough blood to my brain. Recovery - Proximal vs. distal

Some of my medical providers told me that my arm recovery would come first closest to my core,proximal, and last to come back would be furthest away from my core, distal, i.e. my fingers. This covers Traditional Chinese medicine for stroke rehabilitation. Apoplexy was the original name for stroke. I have not read this book yet and was hoping that someone here had and could critique it to see if Chinese medicine has any better answers than Western medicine for stroke rehabilitation.
