Mpt, I agree with your post and agree that no one should listen to a chiropractor that suggests they come off of thier meds. It is not something we were taught to do, if a chiropractor is suggesting that, I would say challenge him. Notice the section where it talks about cortisone injections and states "it is not intended for repeated use, however, due to its ability to cause degeneration of tissue over time." i would agree that it is effective in pain relief but has more serious side effects then spinal adjustments.
