I can't think of any reason that this would happen. I've never heard of it, and it doesn't really make genetic sense, but if it's real, please let me know. I'm intrigued if it is so. The man can't only have Y-chromosomes, because they (y-chromosomes) don't actually sustain life. You can have single X, but no Y-only.
As you might already know, D Dimer shows the presence of a fibrin degradation product. Basically, it says that when you were in the ER, you had had a blood clot.
