Thank you for responding Dr. Nikola! My platelet count was in the normal range, the last four times it's been taken. The last reading was Hct 35.7 L, PLT (K/cmm) 243, and the only low count was with the Hct and Lipase was 372 which was high? I am not an expert but from some of what you've described as symptoms, especially the deteriorating meniscus and tendons in your knees and the slow recovery, the question should be asked were you ever given antibiotics called Cipro, Levaquin, Floxin, Avolox or anything that is a fluoroquinolone?
