Wow, it's been at least two weeks since I was attacked by gout in my right foot and for the first time I can walk (albeit with the light help of a cane) instead of having to use crutches!

If red meats and high purines cause gout, how have so many people done Atkins or other low carb programs without getting gout? I just went to two different LC diet boards and there is very, very little mention of gout.
My understanding of anti-acids is that it turns off the acid pumps in your stomach. They do NOT change the alkalinity of your body.

If it is by Barton Publishing the instant cure is nothing but baking soda. I bought the report a year ago and it was the first I had heard of using BS so, at the time, it was worth it for me!
