Gout attack recovery

Wow, it's been at least two weeks since I was attacked by gout in my right foot and for the first time I can walk (albeit with the light help of a cane) instead of having to use crutches! If red meats and high purines cause gout, how have so many people done Atkins or other low carb programs without getting gout? I just went to two different LC diet boards and there is very, very little mention of gout.

My understanding of anti-acids is that it turns off the acid pumps in your stomach. They do NOT change the alkalinity of your body.

If you are feeling better then I suspect it is your brain more than those pills.

Any Opinions On An "instant Relief" Report?

If it is by Barton Publishing the instant cure is nothing but baking soda. I bought the report a year ago and it was the first I had heard of using BS so, at the time, it was worth it for me!
