usually when i'm hvg sleeplessness, it's coz my mind is racing with thoughts or ideas or problems. So, step 1 for me would be to get up, grab a book with a storyline or read a scientifc article...that usually helps my brain focus on something else which is monotonous, helping me switch gears to la la land.

Indeed Zopiclone is supposed to be short term measure to treat insomnia. Usually the dr would recommend other non pharmacological treatment approaches to resolve the root cause of the insomnia. yeah, that happened to my daughter. Her eyes were glazed while she jumped and kicked violently. The doctor told us it shd be temporary . May I know which sleeping medication you tried? You're still in your teens, i presume they're OTC? It's always best to figure out the root of the problem. i always get that when i'm on a stressful work project. And whenever the project's done, the rush just dissipates. BTW sleeping pills are just a band aid. I stopped when they made me feel worse the next day
