Hi. My wife is 15 weeks now, and one of the first discomforts she had during this pregnancy was lower back pain. I think your body is just adjusting itself to get ready for carrying your baby, and you're feeling that adjustment. Look on the bright side: morning (er, around the clock) sickness is just around the corner : ) hang in there!

I think you have to want to do it, a little at least, if it's going to be fun for either of you. Once you've made up your mind to do it, just get down there and give it a go; your guy should be able to let you know if something's not going right. And variety is good too. Still amonth before the appt. I've gone through days of complete obsession over this, doing nothing at work even but reading up. And then days of being ok, thinking he is alright...
