Wanted to post that my cyst tested not cancerous! There are still more nodules to small to biopsy. They ruled out a disease that starts with an "H" there seems to be no dianosis yet. I don't understand why I have all these cysts or nodules, fluid and solid filled for no reason?!?! I can get my thyroid removed or go in for ultrasoud every 6 mon... more
I guess I won't be getting the biopsy tomorrow, it is just a preliminary visit. Which is so frustrating! Mostly the waiting and the cost since we will be paying for it ourself! I'm not sure wether they are complex or not. My dr. said some are fluid filled some look solid. One is 2.5 cm and one is 1 cm with numerous smaller nodules. The radiologist report said they could not rule out cancer from the scan. All I have had done is the ultrasound. I am scheduled for the needle biopsy July 14, I was hoping for much sooner.... more
I went in yesterday for an ultra sound on my thyroid because my neck became tender and sore, I guess my thyroid was enlarged .
