Cervical Cancer and Ovarian Cancer

I have been reading some studies online about women with high-risk HPV and cervical dysplasia who have taken the dietary supplement Indole-3-Carbinol. The results so far have been that half of the women taking the supplement have had a complete regression of the dysplasia in 12 weeks. My question is whether any of you have tried this?
I made it through the colposcopy but it didn't go so well. I had quite a bit of pain and lots of bleeding. The dr even seemed suprised at the amount of blood. I won't go into the gory details because I would not want to disuade anyone from having this important procedure. My results came back as mild dysplasia. The dr is taking a wait-and-see ... more
Thank you for the reply. I am just so nervous. The dr prescribed some Valium for me to take right before the procedure. I actually wish it was tomorrow because I haven't been able to sleep since I made the appointment due to all of my anxiety about it. I just want it to be over with. And that the results are not worrisome..........
How painful is a colposcopy on a scale of 1 - 10, one being a normal pap and 10 being childbirth? I have one scheduled for May 21 and am really anxious about how bad it might hurt...........
So, I am freaking out. I hadn't had a pap in over five years until last May. It came back ASCUS and high-risk HPV. I have had three more paps since then and all have come back the same. My dr referred me to a gyno to get a colposcopy.
