hypo glycemic and pregnancy
Hypoglycemia on 07-14-2009
My pregnancy has turned out to be TWINS!

I'm not having any more trouble with my blood sugar, if anything it's more stable than ever, but it's early days. My diet is all over the place with nausea and eating 'what I should' is impossible! I eat whatever doesn't smell like gone off brocolli at the time.

hypo glycemic and pregnancy
Hypoglycemia on 06-08-2009
It's funny someone replied to this, I found yesterday I'm pregnant. There's not going to be a lot of information on this subject, and any that's around is going to be sketchy and not necessarily reliable. As we all know, 'reactive' hypoglycemia isn't widely accepted. These symptoms from certain foods seems to be getting quite common, though seemingly 'unexplainable', p... more

I Sweat When I Eat
Diabetic Diet on 02-24-2009
I don't think "sweating when you eat" is isolated to diabetics. It's perfectly natural to get warm when you eat and for a short time after, it's called diet-induced thermogenesis (in English, it's just your metabolism speeding up due to the food you just ate digesting, which means increased heat production and possible sweating). More extensive s... more

slow metabolism?
Diets and Diet Plans on 02-24-2009
What about swimming pool activities? Exercising is a great way to raise your metabolism temporarily and improve effeciency, as well as a buffet of other benefits. Anything you can manage would be a start. Do you have a physio or a specialist who can advise/give you a suitable exercise program? Of course diet is VERY important in weight loss. If y... more
