So you are 10 days late? Have you taken a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant? And the idea of using birth control pills to stop a pregnancy, well many people continue using bc when pregnant because they dont know they are pregnant yet. It is not a good thing to use while pregnant, it wont for sure cease the pregnancy, it might continue... more
Well the rx says a week.... The patch says at as well if you start within 24hrs of your period.... But to be extra cautious, (as we all should) I would wait a month. Everyones body is different and a week may not be enough for your body to be regulated by the pills.
Well I started slightly...So as long as everything progresses I think im alright. Hehe im switching insurance so im not able to get bc til all the paperwork goes through ...So i'll be off for a few months... Back to stupid ole condoms. Lol
Most doctors would counsel you to wait a full month before trusting them fully. Although most Dr.S always say to use another form of bc along with birth control pills to be safe. If you are absolutely positively not ready for a child, I would use at the very least some spermacide just to be careful. I just know way too many people who have be... more
I've heard of people doing it on other bcs....Assumed it'd be ok with the patch too. I dont know if i'd go 3 months without a period, but definitely skipping one is ok. But everyones body is different. I've had friends who have tried to skip their period...And it just shows up mid month during the reg. Bc pills. Lol that kinda sucks
Well took my patch off on the 26th....Its the evening of the 28th and nothing yet. Which is ok for me right now...Im usually about a 3 day later kind of girl...So we're just waiting it out. Things will definitely turn upside down if im pregnant,,,but not much I can do about it now. I'll update ya later in the week on what happens.
