How long have you been off the coffee now (or down to 2 cups)? It might be you need some time to regulate yourself from the high amount of caffeine.
From what I understand of ringworm, it's usually local to an area. It's a skin fungus (my neighbor recently had it.. Got it from a cat that was in the area). It's honestly hard to say... It depends on how he reacts to chemo.. How strong he is.. Some people live months to years beyond their "projected" lifespan.. Others succumb to it much more easily. I wish your uncle well though...

Are you taking birth control? I have chronic yeast infections from the estrogen in the birth control. The only time I was infection free was the 9 months I was on the depo shot (no estrogen).. But it gave me really bad acne so I had to go on something else.
