Surprise appendix removal

So i went in for lap. removal of endometriosis last tuesday and they saw my appendix was about to burst, so removed it. cycle after stopping birth control
Birth Control on 02-25-2008
Hey, just had a quick question...

I stopped my birth control 3 weeks ago. and i have symptoms of my period. but i feel like its too early. i just got my period on the 2nd of feb.

so my question is, is it normal for hormones to go a little crazy once birth control is stopped?!?!?
