i had physio, and it is a removable orthotic that I used for lower jaw to prevent me from bitting all the way. It doesn't change the position of the jaw. btw I was lucky because my insurance covered half of the cost, and I had to pay 750 dollar out of the pocket, for both upper and lower orthotic device.
