I have always had pain in my hips and knees due to being hit by a car when I was 5 yrs. I am now 33 yrs. and started getting this feeling like restless legs but only in my knees. My mother was on metformin for a while then she started to get sick. Sweating, shaking, sick to her stomach, and weak. She stopped taking it and had her doc put her on something else.
