Bowel Movement At Least 6 Times a Day After Partial Hysterec

I had my hysterectomy oct 1. I also had this prob. A stool softner will help although i stopped using the stool softner about 7 weeks ago i have extremly loose bowel movements and as many as 5 a day is this normal being almost 3 mo. after surgery?

I am suprised you were having sex so soon after you're hysterectomy! My doctor did not want me to have sex until i went back after 6 weeks and had an internal exam to make sure everything was healing right. I would say something is not right.

I am 42 and just had my hyserectomy 2 mo. ago. I also had three c sections. I am sure everyone is different but it took me about six weeks before i really was back to my normal routine.
