No, no...i don't mean that steroid creme.
I mean usual lubricant or water.
Why did the author of the post say that he did his actions using water? I thought that maybe skin gets softer and better for such operations...

Hm, i think i might be wrong in my actions. So please correct me if you can. I tried to pull back foreskin when penis is erect (because i can pull it back when it isn't erect quite easy) and hold it for some time.
