DVT in right popliteal vein + Factor V Leiden

My husband had cancer 10 years ago and after surgery, developed a blood clot in his lung. He survived and through that clot the doctor tested him positive for Factor V Leiden gene mutation. Sorry I accidentally hit enter. He has had a clot in his lung from the canser surgery and almost died. He is now duffering from Deep Vein Thrombosis or DVT and is on cumadin.
