My husband had cancer 10 years ago and after surgery, developed a blood clot in his lung. He survived and through that clot the doctor tested him positive for Factor V Leiden gene mutation. He has had a clot in his lung from the canser surgery and almost died. He is now duffering from Deep Vein Thrombosis or DVT and is on cumadin.
I also want to make sure that you two are aware that you are at more risk of clotting if you take birth control pills. Most doctors know about FVL but are not fully aware of... more

My husband recently found out that he had a non occlusive DVT in his right popliteal vein. He also has gout and Factor 5 Leiden blood disorder. I was wondering if there are any seminars similar to the one above located in Arizona?
