A friend is telling me it sounds like Diverticulitis. What do you all think?

yeah symptoms show up for mono 4 to 6 weeks after youre exposed... but usually it goes from no symptoms (no fever, no fatigue) to a high fever, sore throat, swollen glands and tonsils very quickly - within a couple of days and my mild symptoms have been around for almost 2 weeks. :/

I don't think its mono because my boyfriend hasnt gotten sick at all. Hes completely fine and my family and friends are all completely ok. I don't think going to a psychiatrist is going to get rid of a fever... which is a sign that something is physically wrong and the body is fighting something off... so, thanks... but I don't think thats what I need.
