We are aware of the potentially dangerous side effects of Avastin but my father is ok so far. He takes it since Feb 2006 and as far as his bi-annual CAT scans show Avastin works at keeping the liver, lung and bone tumors from growing. My father is 64 yo, has stage 4 colon cancer, tumor spread in lungs, liver and bones. He was diagnosed and had surgery 20 months ago, he has now a ileostomy and a colostomy.
