It sounds like you need to get a second and maybe even a 3rd opinion as to what is going on and what is causing your pain.

X-rays are not a good method of determining spine issues. MRI is needed.

Sounds like you have some nerve compression, maybe coming from your lumbar spine.

I suggest you consult with a spine specialist for an evaluation, either an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines or a neurosurgeon that specializes in spines only.
