My Story
I've always had sinus problems on and off since I was young which were attributed to 'allergies' however when I came to uni I had a bout of sinusitis and things have never been the same since. That was in 2001, now I'm still suffering and looking for answers as to why I have headaches, feel fatigued and irritable and just feel horrible all day long every day :(

This is the complete breakdown of my condition -

No/poor sense of smell - Can smell obvious things like cooked food or perfumes but things like paper, duvets, wood, air and other ambient smells I can't seem to smell except for the odd brief moment. As my sense of smell has gotten worse seemingly so have my other symptoms

Congestion - Both nostrils feel bunged up but it varies particularly when lying on one side, the opposite nostril will become clearer, when lying flat both nostrils seem to become very blocked. Often feel like I have to supplement my normal breathing by breathing through my mouth. In general it feels hard to breath

Sneezing/Runny nose - Sometimes will nose will run after I eat or just at random times, usually making me sneeze or coming after I sneeze

Headache pain/pressure - Feeling of pressure/tingling over nose bridge and just above the eyes. Has been particularly painful just above the right eye recently

Post nasal drip - Always feel mucus (or something) at the back of my throat. Bring up yellow mucus sometimes in the morning. Sometimes get a gag reflex/cough because of how much there is but is always present and am constantly swallowing or spitting out whatever is there. Can't tell if I'm bringing it up or if its coming from my nose

Dry mouth/throat - Often wake up with a dry mouth/throat

Mucus - Bring up some yellow mucus in the morning and then is kind of thickish, cloudy white mucus for the rest of the day but I am constantly bringing up phlegm nearly all the time

Blood in Spit – Occasionally have red spit, likely from nasal bleeding that is coming out as post nasal drip

Tinnitus - Often have ringing in my ears, occasionally something pops and my hearing goes for a few seconds in one ear or the other. Sometimes I have to pop my ears because my hearing goes muffled, this has worsened over the years

Wheezy - Am quite wheezy most of the time, this is even more noticeable after exercise.
Rash – Very occasionally get small red rashes, disappears reasonably quickly, is not painful and has known triggers

Dizziness/head rush – Often get head rushes and random dizzy spells when up right or have just become up right, as if I was walking on a boat
