I'm a person who gets energy from being alone. This can be difficult when you are in another culture, which find myself in frequently. I love reading and walking outdoors.

I like to garden and be outside as much as possible. I am interested in portrait photography. I love reading fictional or historical novels. Also foreign film. As long as it's good.

I just learned that babies hiccup in utero.

I am the first of three daughters in my family. Lots of feminine power in my family, because my mother is the middle of three daughters. I was raised as an individualist, so I was definitely ready to leave the roost when I was 18. I traveled a lot and always followed my curiosity. I've lived in a half a dozen countries and speak three languages. I met my husband in Florida. We are two of a kind. Peas in a pod. We work together, which is an asset and a liability simultaneously. ;) We are thinking about moving to Spain. Will update on that soon. I came into my current position as a result of my writing skills. I started as a Medical Editor and gradually evolved my role as a Community Director. I've had lots of experience working with non-profits, so organization is my game. I am proud to be a leader of the volunteer team at eHealth Forum and have made friends in the process.
