My Story
I am a mother of 2, my son is 18 and has a TBI. He was in an accident with his father when he was 10. He was in a coma for 2 months and has struggled very hard to fit in. He graduated this year from High School, it was very hard for him, but he did it. He has some break thru seizures still and it is very frustrating for him. He also has some problems with anger and deppression. I need someone to talk to whom may know someting I can try to make his life easier, whether it is changing his diet or something else. The doctors just tell me I should put him in a group home for the structure. That is the last thing I want to do. I have seen those homes and Tyler definately doesn't belong there. He has the kind of Brain Injury that you can't see, which makes it harder for him, because people don't understand what they can't see.
