I have recently been told i have epilepsy after having 2 seizures. I had the first seizure in april 08 and was given a MRI scan, i really didnt see or hear anything else from professionals in the medical field untill i had unbearable headaches for 5 days (in sept 08) in a row and got sent to A&E. They dismissed me and went to my GP (still with this headache), they di missed me and then 2 hrs later i had a series of 3 seizures starting on my left side then generalising. SO.... after all this they started to see me at neurology and told me that first i had a brain tumour, then it was a AVM, then it was nothing just a bit of ischemia in my brain and then finally i had epilepsy. Now they have come up with blood clots? apparrently after diagnosing me, they now think i have blood clots in my cerbral venous sinus tract.But apart from that this year has actually been great. (No scarasm actually being serious!!)I may sound slighty grumpy but kinda lost faith the profession i work in.
