I have been becoming a strong supporter for GLBT rights, and for those that are in the GLBT community to become open and not fear who they are.

I grew up in a town where it is hard to be yourself. Ever since I was 15, I knew that I was gay, but decided to hide that... even from myself. Over time, I became more accepting of being gay, and have begun to open myself up more, and begun to be myself more. Every day is a struggle for me to not get over-zealous and just come out without thinking of the consequences of my actions - I know that this is a delicate process. I fortunately have the love of my current boyfriend to see me through, as well as the strong support of my friends that I recently met.
