My father has been suffering from multiple myeloma (heavy chain myeloma , with a slight increase in Kappa chains).
He was previously given radiation because the cancer (plasmacyetoma) was first localized in his left mandible. But after 8 months both his kidneys failed and he was diagnosed multiple myeloma. since then he is dialysis dependent and and being treated with Delta cortile and Cyclophosphamide 5 day course of 6 tab a day per month and Thalidomide 12 tab in a moth , now his doctor wants to increase the dose to 1 tab of Thalidomide per day accompanied by Dexamathosone instead of Cyclophosphamide . I am concerned about this decision plz help with your suggestions.
