Hi,

Anyone know if this is a sign of a bacterial infection ? I have notiecd recently that if i goto the toilet and dont flush for 7 hours or so ( toilet is broken before you ask !), the urine has turned cloudy. Its not cloudy to start with and was never cloudy when it sat around for a few hours before.

Does anyone know if this is a sign of a bacterial infection ?

I don't think so. I visited one site that talked about collecting urine for a specimen for a doctor visit and it mentioned that the 'old' urine sometimes turns cloudy.
"After standing for some time, even normal urine may turn cloudy as mineral crystals precipitate from the ions and molecules present, or as bacteria populations grow."
