Q: 2 urine tests ?

For anyone who has ever been to the doctor for pregnancy tests.

Have any of you ever had to take 2 urine tests? A friend (for a few reasons, I doubt she is really pregnant)told me she just came back from the Doctor's office. She said 1 urine test came back positive and 1 came back negative, so the doctor decided to take a blood test to be sure. I'm not even sure she actually went to the doctors, whcich is why I'm looking for answers.

The reason, in case you're wondering, is that her boyfriend (my best friend)is a nervous wreck (I already gave him the protection speach), and I don't really trust this girl. Let's just say it wouldn't suprise me that this whole story is made up. I could go into further details, but it would take a while.

She can get proof of pregnancy from her doctor's office. She would need this for her insurance, etc. If a doctor cannot determine pregnancy by urine test, then a blood test would be normal.

How late is her period? I'd advise your friend to go to her next doctor appointment with her. This often happens in pregnancy.

It will only take 1-2 days for a blood test to come back.

He offered to go, but she said she'd rather go alone. This whole situation is very weird.

Of course, I don't want to acuse her of lying, I just have my doubts.

And when she told me this, I found it odd that a doctor would make her take 2 urine tests.

I wonder why she'd want to go alone... Usually an unplanned pregnancy is kind of a scary situation. Trust your intuition and keep an eye on what is going on.

A lot of girls fake pregnancy. It is not at all uncommon for girls to have miraculous miscarriages when they are asked for proof of pregnancy.
