i had a urine test and it came back, that i have high white cell count, and they are refering me to a urologist, what could this be.

Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out. The possibility of a urinary tract infection is high from these findings. You might need a urine culture to look for the culprit organisms causing the UTI and deciding the antibiotic therapy.

If you are having recurrent UTI’s, then an ultrasound of the kidneys & bladder is also required to rule out the presence of any stones in the urinary tract.
