After carrying out series of test and investigation by my Urologist; he has not been able to conclude firmly on the aliment that I am suffering from. I have under gone ultrasound, asc. urethogram, computerized urine flow studies and cystoscopy. By Ultrasound it has shown full bladder is holding 825ml of urine and after voiding it retains 325ml & prostrate is normal size. By Cystoscopy he has found no stricture in urethra and internal sphincter is tight, bladder has trabuculation, bladder walls are thick. Now that I am passing urine in about 1 hr frequency in day time and during sleep I wake up once to pass urine. But the flow and time to void is more (which I have not measured. I feel even volume to be less per void. There is some pain (slight)on left side of in the region of lower part of upper abdomen. I too had some digestion problem after taking antibiotic which increased my stool bulk.My Urologist has advice for Self Catherisation. Should I go for it in this condition or wait for more time to watch for improvement. Plz advice whether waiting further will deteriorate the condition.
