Hey there.

about a week and a half ago my boyfriend rushed me to the hospital because I was in severe pain and peeing almost a pure stream of blood. I went from having normal pee, to slight burning, to peeing fire within a span of 20 minutes.

They told me it was a UTI. They prescribed me antibiotics and did a bunch of tests. They also gave me some pain pills that turned my pee bright orange, but really relieved the pain.

But lately I feel like I still have a bit of an infection. Every few days I feel like I have to go to the bathroom, so I go, not much happens and it burns a bit. I got a yeast infection from the antibiotics but I took a suppository and have been eating up on acidophollus yougrts and such.

I do NOT want to go back to the doctor about the UTI, because they slammed me with a $4,400 bill that I will not be able to pay for (i'm uninsured).

Are there any home cures that I can do to shake the last bits of this infection? I just started my period last night too, so I'm sure that's not helping.

I've been drinking lots of cranberry juice and lots of water daily. Is there anything else? Please help, I hate feeling helpless with no inruance. It's really scary thinking what would happen to me if I get sick because theres nothing I can do about it Sad

Thanks in advance.

Try cranberry supplements...the juice is diluted and from concentrate. But you can buy the supplements from a natural food store. Do you have any antibiotics remaining?
