I have been taking 325 mg of aspirin for a number of years. This past year I have developed some serious urinary problems as a result of taking aspirin after having had some alcohol. I am not an alcoholic, but do enjoy a few beers after work. I will become very weak for a few days and my urine will turn darker during this time period. I will also be itching during this time. This has happened three times this year. Could the mixture of alcohol and aspirin be causing this problem? As a result, I've tried to stop taking aspirin on the days I've drunk alcohol.
