Recently, when i had sex with my partner within 5 hours in bent double in pain. I find going for a wee very painful and the thought of leaving the toilet i actually find quite distressing. i get this every time i have sex now and i know that if i leave it 2-3 days there will be blood in my urine. the doctors have said - make sure u go to the toilet before and after sex basically that im pushing germs inside me when i have penetrive sex and its creating an infection. well i have the infection again and this time it only took an hour to set in i can barely walk and have been put on Cefalexin for the pain and that took the burning/itching/needing to urinate away almost instantly but not im swollen the clit area is red and painful, not itchy just swollen, ive just come off my period normal over the counter medications never work - canasten never works doctors not open til monday getting desperate now lol oh ive also tried something my doctor advised and that was to put vinegar in a bath apparently it helps make the vagina acidic again which it needs to be...im running out of old wives tales to use
