Just under my ribs in the centre just under my breast line.
i get a feeling there is a football stuck there, and have the constant need to take a deep breath all of the time, any ideas what this could be? I get a funny taste in mouth too, like metal or chalky.

I'd suggest that you learn a little more about the anatomy of the torso. Here's a photo of the ribcage and the organs around it. You might also look into other image files and searches for the area where you are experiencing pain.
