I was diagnosed with acid reflux years ago, However the pain I had then was mainly confined to my extreme upper abdomen. no throat pain, no chest pains. recentley due to back pain, I went to a chiropractor, they took x-rays and informed me that my spines was out of alignment in quite alot of places, I started going to the chiro and receiving adjustments, after maybe my 2nd or 3rd adjustment, the pain in my upper abdomen increased, with alot of gurgling noises, and I now have burning pains in my sternum and my throat, sometimes into my shoulders, and feel like I cant breath sometimes. is this due to my spine? or is it my acid reflux getting worse, or is it possibly ulcer or gall stones? any help would be appreciated

Hello,
Welcome to the forum and I am really glad to help you out. From your symptoms it looks like gastrointestinal reflux disease(GERD).

First of all avoid eating any junk food or oily, spicy food. Take a healthy, balanced and nutritious diet consisting more of fruits, salads, soups and raw vegetables(after proper washing). Also increase the protein content in your diet instead of carbohydrates and fats. An advice from a dietician will be helpful.

Take some OTC antacid also . If the symptoms persist then please consult a physician . I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
