hey everyone.
i've been on klonopin for 4 months now. i took .25 mg in the am then again in the pm. 3 days ago i started to take .5 mg in the am and .25 in the pm because i want to eventually be able to get to the target dose of 1 mg. but since i upped my dose i've been feeling more anxious and dizzy and im just out of it. i had to come home from work early today because my anxiety wouldnt calm down. is this the meds or is it all in my head?!

i dont know if i should go back down to my normal dosage or just try to stick it out? someone please reply with some advice. i feel like im going crazy and i actually had a full blown panic attack today for the first time since ive been on klonopin.

thanks, kay

You should report this to your doctor. You could go back down to your usual dose until you can talk with your doctor about this.

Do tell you doctor. But you have to realize that you body now has to get use to the new dose and therefore regain a new blood level. These side effects many or many not continue. Every mediciane will loss it's potancy after a time and have to be altered. Once you have reached the max, it most of the time has to be changed to start dealing with the symtoms again. Normally in a couple of weeks those side effects should wear off. But, mention it to you doc anyway.
