Q: Unusual sunburn

I'm from India but I live in America now. My skin is brown and I have black hair. I can get a sunburn from being in the sun for just 10 minutes. Since my skin is brown shouldn't it take a lot more to give me a sunburn? And the sun burn is only on my forehead, and cheeks even though my arms and legs were also exposed to the sun for the same amount of time. Why do I get sunburned so easily?
