Q: Unusual Items In Stool
asked by: tmiller6 on May 19th, 2009

I have what look like large peanut shaped items in my stool. They are approximately an inch to an inch and a half long and about half to three quarter inch around.

Is this cause for concern?

I don't think there is a need for concern.
These items are probably particles of undigested food, like high-fiber vegetable which isn't digested by the enzymes in your digestive tract.
Since there aren't accompanying symptoms like diarrhea, or weight loss, this doesn't sound like anything serious.
