Q: Unusual bleeding on patch

I'm currently using the contraceptive patch & put my last patch on 5 days ago, but it was 2 days later than it should have been put on.
I had my period 2 weeks ago and I've always been very regular.
Last night I've started bleeding & it's rather worrying as it's very dark in colour & has little clots in it.
Is this a sign of early pregnancy?! Or something else?
