These are my symptoms: fatigue (always tired, no matter how much I sleep), memory problems( my fiance is really worried about that), my finger and toes tingle all the time and are always cold even with thick socks, I feel naseated every morning when I get up,( no way I'm pregnant, tubes are tied), headaches in back of my head in last couple weeks( never happened before now), I get dizzy esp. when standing up, even if I do it slowly, I get out of breath 2-3 times a day, even just laying in bed watching tv, my muscles feel sore alot, like i'm getting the flu, but I never get it, I do have a small lump on the side top of my head, it doesn't cause pain or anything( could that be a lymph node? do they even have those on your head? sorry this is so long, by the time I got to see a doctor, she pushed me in than right out, didn't really get to talk to her, but she said it sounds like asthma, gave me an inhaler, but it doesn't work for me. then I ended up moving before I could go back. thanks for any advice.

Extremely eHealthy
These symptoms can be due to asthma.
But, to me, they look more like symptoms caused by low levels of thyroid gland hormones.
Dizziness can be due to bradicardia or low heart rate, symptom of hypothyroidism.
Dyspnea or shortness of breath can be symptom of hypothyroidism, too.
People with hypothyroidism are experiencing extreme fatigue and don't find their sleep refreshing.
Forgetfulness, impaired memory, inability to concentrate are part of this condition.
Cold intolerance and sensation of tingling, pricking, or numbness in arms and legs is characteristic for hypothyroid people.
Muscle pain, joint pain, weakness in the extremities is symptom of hypothyroidism.
Headaches, too.

People with low levels of thyroid hormones can have anemia, problems with blood sugar levels, hypertension, and all these conditions can contribute for the symptoms you are experiencing.

Try to track your blood pressure, heart rate and make some blood tests (thyroid hormones levels, blood count, blood sugar levels)

To find out if it is your thyroid, you can have some blood work drawn: TSH, T-3, T-4 and even have a Thyroid Ultrasound done. I would go to the doctor and ask him to do the blood work first and then if the blood work comes back abnormal then he will probably send you for an Ultrasound or send you to an Endocrinologist for further work-up. I have Asthma myself but I got it from second hand cigarette smoke. I don't have most of the symptoms you have but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be Asthma either. I would certainly go see your regular MD and ask for the blood work to check your Thyroid just to make sure.

Ashtma
Hello Becca1,

If you want to solve that condition real soon I have a friend with that condition and solved it with a nutritional product. In most cases drugs won't solve your problem. Most illnesses are caused by not having the correct nutrients in your body. I can put you in touch with that person by phone and you can discuss your problem.
