Q: Untreated Ear infections

Do untreated ear infections almost always develop into anything more serious or can it resolve itself on its own over time?

I'm unable to see a doctor, and have had sharp pain in my right ear for 3 days with the feeling of a lot of pressure/sore.

hi i think it's always best to see a doctor just in case because it could be a small infection but if left just could keep getting worse good luck Jenny
