If a woman with asymptomatic chlamydia does not seek testing or treatment what are the chances that she will develop Pelvic Inflammatory Disease?

If she does NOT develop PID will the infection remain in her body or eventually clear itself?

hello if this goes untreated there is risk of infertility in fallopian tubes..this is usually treated with antibiotics and caught early enough can clear..there is also the risk of pelvic inflammitory as you mentioned. I advise you seek medical help and start treatment.
