Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Having occasional blood clots while having menstrual bleeding is common. If you had your periods immediately (within few days of having intercourse), then chances of pregnancy can be ruled out. Hormonal changes can affect your period pattern. There can be hormonal changes that could happen after you have intercourse. Visit your gynecologist and get started on suitable regular birth control (if you intend to remain sexually active and are not ready for pregnancy).
Take care.
