I am on ortho evra and I have taken it for at least a year. Well me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex a few times and he came in me once every other time he pulled out. I know birth control is not 100% effective but I'm not sure if i should worry at the moment. I did an ovulation calculator and it said when I was most able to ovulate and thats when we had this unprotected sex. Should I wait until I am supposed to start my period or should i get a test now to check???

No, you don't ovulate when you take birth control.

If for some reason you did ovulate (that would be very strange and is that 1% of women that get pregnant while taking the pill), it might not be during the specific time on your ovulation chart-- you really don't know when you'd ovulate.

Wait for your period, then test if there's a problem. I really wouldn't worry about it though. Remember that you take your pills to prevent pregnancy! Wink
