I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend every night. I only take the birth control[and green pills which do nothing] before we have sex (could be 3am or 5pm or 12pm..)because im always up at really random times and sleep whenever im tired (naps during day sometimes). I believe the last time i had my period was 2.5 weeks ago, but my periods are so random there's no point in keeping track of them. I either get periods within 5-14 days (usually 7-9 days long) and sometimes they have a tendency to clump up, having 2 periods one right after the other, and not having the next one a month or so later..My eating habits, excersize habits and stress levels are always radically different or spontaneously on random schedules, and i get sick or injured alot so its really hard to tell if i ever have symptoms of something related to being pregnant or anything else..I just bought another pregnancy test but its hard to know when to take it, if i dont know when my next period is. I took one a month ago and it was negative, yay. I work and am attending cegep again next semester along with training again. I'd really like to know besides buying these pregnancy tests if im liable for being pregnant, because I alone cannot tell. Question

Theres not really any other way to tell you are pregnant besides a test. You say you have no family doctor, so I would say buy the 3 pack of Home Pregnancy Tests, made by "First Response" they have them come in a pack of three, so take one each week. Til the result is positive, if you are pregnant

Extremely eHealthy
Does not sound right
I hope I am misunderstanding what you explained. Birth control pills make your period regular. Normally 5 days bleeding and 28 days cycles. It is also very important to take the pill at the same time every day. This is especially important with the modern low dose or mini pills.

Your periods does not sound like you are using the pill correctly.

You cannot take normal birth control pills only when you have sex. The hormones either prevent your ovaries from ripening and egg and releasing it and/or preventing it from attaching to the uterus wall. These can only be done with sustained manipulation of the hormone levels. The only exception is the morning after pill that is a very high dose pill and that prevents the fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus.

Are you saying that you only take the pill when you have sex? If you wait for your period to appear before taking the pregnancy test, you might wait 9 months! Take the pregnancy test 14 days after sex.

Hmm
Thank you guys soooooooo much. Ive been contemplating all these responses.
I used to take some birthcontrol pills whenever we'd have sex. but recently ive been back to taking them in the morning whenever i wake up. But sometimes i skip the green pills because my boyfriend and i engage in sex every morning or night.
My periods are very wierd but ive tried maintaining a 6 month schedual of having the same foods and the same times i wake up, just a regular schedule but it was still very random. Its because my entire life was spent moving around, having different diets and being an elite athlete, training twice a day for about 3 hours.
Im taking the test next week and Ill let you know what happens if you are interested. Thank you so much for posting, you literally have no idea how I feel that someone out there is here for me, even for a moment.
And for sweetie19, I hope everything is alright with you. Sounds complicated Sad
